My prayers are with the Appleton family at this time. I was saddened to hear of Uncle Johnny's passing. I always enjoyed spending time with them when I was a little girl. I will pray for peace and comfort for those left behind during this sad time.

My thoughts and Prayers to his family. I spent my primary years growing up in Hillendale we moved when I was 11. I remember the Appletons and their dog Dirk? I will share a memory that has stuck with me all these years. "When I was in High School(Delcastle) my car broke down on 95 mr Appleton stopped to help he then proceeded to take me to school. He recognized our old family car. The whole way to school I got a lecture informing me to Never get in a car with a stranger. I was thankful for his kindness and concern. Sandra Sobczyk Hansen
