John Paul Aschauer

John Aschauer passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Holehouse). Survived by siblings, Mike (Connie) Aschauer, Susan (Tony) Richardson and Pam Brott; Aunt Luanna Kearney; sister-in-law, Lori Aschauer; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Ben) Dzioba, Stephanie (Chris) Bauknecht, Chrisopher Richardson, Samantha Brott, Rae Lynn (Tim) Barwin, Erica (Erik) Borkhuis, Megan, Molly, Rebekah and Matthew Aschauer. Mother-in-law, Lois Holehouse, sister-in-law, Karen Wolf, brother-in-law, Gary (Janelle), Dan (Lynn) and Mark (Heather) Holehouse, nephews, Cale (Katie) Wolf, Gavin Holehouse, Kevin (Ashley) Wertz, nieces, Marlow Holehouse, Erika (Adam) Eidson. In addition; great nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Phyllis Aschauer: brother Raymond Aschauer and father-in-law, Clyde Holehouse

John proudly served in the Marine Corps in which he received multiple honors and awards. He found great solace and happiness in the great outdoors. He was a man of all seasons and talents for each. Johns' addiction was that of having a fishing pole in his hand in which the "tug was the drug". He was an energetic man with a full throttle attitude from start to finish. His commitment to helping others was unmatched and his willingness to help others simply included everyone. His hobbies covered the spectrum from: restoring vintage snowmobiles, gardening, utving, snowmobiling, hunting, and anything else that required action. He found further joy in family, friends, and especially teasing and spending time with his nephews and nieces. He will be deeply missed by many. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Road (Hwy J&JJ, 4 blocks south of I-94) from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
