John Kenneth Baker, 80, of White Oak, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. He was born February 29, 1944 and was the son of the late Melvin and Josephine Baker. He was the husband of John Micknowski. John was a member of Mary Mother of God, St. Angela and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked for UPMC McKeesport as a Night-time Administrator for 25 years. He is survived by his children, Neal R. (Kelsey) Baker and Brian N. (Rachel) Baker; three grandchildren; sister, Rita Baker-Marsh; and sister-in-law, Christine Collins. Preceded in death by Kathy Collins Baker, mother of Neal and Brian. Friends are welcome Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Entombment and committal service will take place Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 10am at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
