John J. "Jack" Banas
John J. "Jack" Banas, 79, of Phoenixville, PA passed away Monday, November 17, 2025.
He was born in Norristown, Pa on November 8, 1946, the son of the late Joseph S. and the late Rosemary (Hasson) Banas.
Jack has been living in Phoenixville, Pa for the last 2 years, formerly of Las Vegas, NV for a year, Saylorsburg, Pa and Conshohocken, Pa.
He was a Road Inspector and Engineer with Penn Dot and CMC Engineering.
Jack was a Philadelphia sports team fan, he enjoyed going to the casinos, playing golf and spending time with his family especially his dog Jo-Jo.
He was the husband of Late - Joyce ( McTamney) Banas.
Survivors include, Sister Patti (& Gene) Lubentski of Phoenixville, Pa, Sister In Law Annamay (& Patrick) McGarvey of West Conshohocken, Pa, Sister In Law Claire Banas of King of Prussia, Pa, Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Banas.
His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, Pa.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hyland Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
