John was a true leader and I always looked up to him when stationed at Ft. Lewis.. He did his best to guide the wild young airmen we were.

With Gratitude,
Eric Spagenski

I knew John as a fellow TACP from my first duty station at Ft. Lewis. He was a great guy & one of the NCOs that the young guys really looked up to. We'll sure miss you John. I'll be raising a mug of beer your direction...

I admit I do not remember John, I was a TACP instructor 85-89. Any loss of a fellow TACP is a loss for the entire community, and the USAF. To the family, my sincere condolences to you for your loss, and time with your beloved, no words will convey the pain you are feeling. Know that his time as a TACP soldier, was and is respected across the TACP community! All the best to your family.
