John R. Binari

John R. Binari, 63, of Somerville, MA died peacefully on October 29, 2025 at Care Dimensions Hospice in Lincoln, MA after a long illness.
John was a lifelong resident of Somerville where he attended Somerville High School and worked many years for the city's Traffic Department. He truly loved watching and following the world of professional wrestling; an enjoyment that he ended up passing along to all of his children.
John is survived by his fiancé, Michelle Woodman, along with his children Naisca, Giovanni, and Jeremy Binari. He is pre-deceased by his parents Lena and Gino Binari. He was the loving brother of Mary Krol (Joseph), Michael Binari, Carol Delaney (Mark), Doreen Farma (James), June Binari, and Kathy Bouche (Robert). He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
We are all heartbroken by his loss but we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and no longer suffering.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of John's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 2254 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in John's memory to the charity of your choice. A private internment of ashes will be at a later date.
