I worked with John often during my years as a paralegal and also on some personal matters. Thus we became friends. John was one of the nicest people I have met in my life. His knowledge of the law was amazing and he helped me whenever I had questions or concerns. His personality was amazing as well! He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to his family.

John taught me so much in the municipal world and I am forever greatful! He also was the offiant of my wedding and I cannot unhear the words, "By the powers vested in me under the Great State of Wisconsin ...". His laugh resonates in my head and I will always cherish him. Until we meet again, John. I will use semicolons as best I can! Lo e you!

From our reporting days at WRJN to hastily made retirement plans AND years after of calling him just to chat, ask how he's doing, and thank him again for helping us, John was a friend and a guiding light. We are deeply saddened at his passing and will always remember him. Condolences to the family. RIP John.
