I've known you my entire life. You were my Uncle John. I know Auntie Marie is happy to have you back with her. I'm so sorry Cathy. My utmost prayers go to you and your family.

What a joy it was to know John. Though we never met, we corresponded and talked over the phone about our common Dutch heritage. We are descended from two brothers, Harm and Jan Blink who came to this country from the Netherlands in the mid 1800s. How he enjoyed talking about his family. John was proud of where he came from and enjoyed sharing stories with me about his wife, his children, grandchildren, aunts and uncles and grandparents. How I will miss those wonderful Christmas phone calls. From our distant branch of the family in Iowa to yours in Indiana, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May you ease your sadness with the many wonderful memories I am sure he left for you. Rob & Kim Blink
