I had the pleasure of knowing John as a player, coach and more so as a dear friend. He was never lost for words and never one to not be there to lend a hand in anything. We played baseball together coached with each other and shared a lot of good times talking sports and games. The community lost a great individual. Thanks John for a lot of great memories. Please accept our most sincere condolences. I played basketball against John for many years. Later he was our baseball assigner and one of our middle school referees when I became the Athletic Director at East Palestine. I don´t I ever saw when he didn´t have that big smile on his face. We shared many memorable moments and laughed together. Prayers for the entire family.
