Sheriff Bowens was the first sheriff I ever met (for good reasons!) when I first came to Dawson nearly thirty two years ago. He always took time to say hello, even if he was relatively busy.

My prayers and condolences are with the Bowens family and the TCSO at this very sad time.

Rest in peace, Sheriff, and thank you for your years of friendship and the wonderful chats we had.
