Jeanne, Malia, Brianna and Family
Jeanne and Girls I could talk for Hours about my relationship with "the Blast " my best Friend as we use to talk weekly for over 50 yrs. But always our thoughts would evolve around his love for you, Jeanne. You were his rock and simply made everything work for him and the Girls. In the end and in our last conversation all he talked about was the care and concern your Nurse like precision of his diagnosis, handling him with the such gentleness and warmth. He felt so secure in your presence during this time of his sickness and Health issues. Just like your Marriage Vows he would say. Honestly Jeanne, you you were his angel.........The Blaster would boast about your activities, Travels, Vacations and the happiness they brought all of you that was so evident in our heartfelt talks. He relished the idea of yours and the Girls Beauty and heritage, talking endlessly how proud he was.......The equally lengthy conversations we had were his pride and joy, the stunningly Beautiful Girls, Malia and Brianna, so Accomplished and Poised. Heads would turn as they strolled into a room as if royalty had arrived. So much love poured out of "the Blast" for his Daughters and excuse me Girls "Sweetie and Spanky. But these two majestic finely honed women have become mother's while maintaining high profile Jobs, gave John his favorite topic 4 Grand children. He loved you all so deeply, never wavering in his pursuit to bring you all Happiness and joy. As for me. I have not been able to wrap my heart and soul around his passing. I hope your grieving will last only as long as you allow it. The grieving process is like a serpent, piercing your heart without notice, then gone, only to pray upon your weakened heart again. But time is your savior, along with great memories, Family and friends that will guide you into the light. Sorry for the lengthy Dialogue. But i just wanted you to know John's feelings as he gifted these thoughts to me. He was a great Friend and Brother, I will always Love him and never forget how much he meant to both Peg and I......Love Always John and Peg

At San Diego State, John was a popular outgoing friend to many. He always had a smile, and willing to help-out others. He loved a beer with friends, and loved to joke around - especially at the SAE fraternity house! It´s wonderful to know that his whole life has been filled with friends, family and fun
