John Boyd Obituary
John devoted much of his life to hard work and service. He spent 20 years with Sears, Roebuck and Company before retiring after another 20 years with the Sebastian County Road Department. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, worked as a dairy farmer for five years, and faithfully served as a deacon and devoted member of Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church in Dayton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 15th at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, with Bro. Cody McCorkle officiating. Services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelsie Boyd of Greenwood, and two grandsons, Justin Chastain of Greenwood and Hunter Chastain and wife Paige of Huntington.
