John B. Braley

John Braley went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9th, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born September 27, 1941, to Roy and Ruby Braley. John graduated from Plano ISD in 1959. He spent most of his career in the construction industry and for many years he had his own cabinet shop. He continued building cabinets for Plano ISD and retired from there in 2004.
John loved all sports, fishing, hunting and camping. Often you would see him at his grandchildren and great grandchildren's games. If they didn't have a game, then he would find one to watch. He loved spending time with his family, taking his grandchildren camping in the RV and traveling. He also loved gardening and sharing his bounty with friends and family. He spent lots of time in his shop building cabinets or anything his wife or girls would ask him to build.
John is survived by his wife, Christine and daughters Lucretia, Tonya and Cindy and their spouses Jack, Dino and Brian. Brothers Robert, Horace, Roger, Bruce and sisters Doris and Venita as well as 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 2pm at Telephone Baptist Church on December 13th, 2025, Funeral will follow at 3pm. Burial will be at Forest Grove Cemetery in Telephone Texas.
