John Fredrick Brannon, age 41, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2024, in Cedartown, GA. He was born on January 16, 1983, in Riverdale, GA. John was a loving father and family man who found joy in spending time with his children and loved ones. His hobbies included fishing, being outdoors, and watching sports. Throughout his life, John's proudest accomplishment was his children - Freddie and Madison, whom he cherished deeply.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Larry and Helga Mckibben; paternal grandparents, John and Martha Brannon; father, Johnny Fred Brannon; brother-in-law, Michael Dean; and a nephew, Hayden Dean. He is survived by his children, Freddie Ray Brannon and Madison M. Billingslea; mother, Susie M. Brannon; grandmother, Carolyn Brannon; mother of his children, Brandie Billingslea; sister, Jana Dean; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service for John will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Salmon Funeral Home.
John’s family will receive friends at Salmon Funeral Home Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Brannon will be cremated following the funeral service.
John's warm presence and kind heart touched the lives of many around him. He will be remembered for his love for family, his adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to have known him.
May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life's journey. Salmon Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of John Fredrick Brannon.
