John William Braucht passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.
John is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Renée Grace Eddy, (Christopher), Taylor John Braucht, (Elyse); grandchildren, Halle Braucht and Ryder Braucht; brother, Richard Braucht, (Joanne), and niece, Leanne. John was born in Denver, Colorado on December 24, 1948.
He graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1967, and Western State College in 1972. John was a master of fine woodworking and stunned his clients and friends with his rare artistic talent. Many have cherished mementos of his polished creativity. John will be remembered for his kind demeanor, integrity, and love for his family. His warm presence is an enormous hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of John’s life for his friends and family will be held from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at The Inn at Hudson Gardens on South Santa Fe in Littleton, Colorado.
