I was director of Arlington Community Education for a few years. John was my boss and I had frequent conversations with him. He was always supportive and helped me in my role. I knew I could always rely upon him. He was a very nice man and we all will miss him. I would run into him from time to time when I shopped at Wegmans and we would have nice conversations in the shopping aisle. We would reminisce about Arlington Public Schools.

I was fortunate to have Mr. Britt for 2 classes as a student at Arlington High School, class of 1966. He was such a fantastic teacher. Please accept my sympathy on his passing.
