John Broadbent, of New Castle, passed away peacefully at 4:44 on Thursday, January 28, 2026, after an extended illness. He was 58.
Mr. Broadbent was born October 23, 1968, in Hermitage, a son of John W. Broadbent. and Dorothy (Fundoots) Broadbent.
John attended Hermitage High School. He later attended New Castle School of Trades and graduated in 1991.
He became an electrician and worked for Premier Electric, Inc. John also worked on homes, creating and building beautiful living environments.
John was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage.
John enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, golfing, sports, motorcycle riding, and playing his guitar.
Surviving are, three sisters, Karen Zoccole, Sharpsville; Jacqueline Terrill and her husband Neil, West Pittsburg, PA; and Emily Broadbent, Pulaski, PA.
John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cheryl Broadbent; brother, Gregory Broadbent; and nephew, Peter Carpec, III.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA 16148
Calling hours and service will be held privately by the family.
