John Bush Obituary
John Edward Bush, beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 58. He was born on April 24, 1965, in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
John's warm and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many. He was known for his genuine kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. John's zest for life was evident in his numerous hobbies and interests.
An avid outdoorsman, John found solace in hunting and fishing. He had a deep appreciation for nature and cherished spending time in the serene beauty of the great outdoors. Additionally, he had a passion for cars and enjoyed remodeling them to perfection. His dedication to craftsmanship was admired by all who witnessed his work. Attending car shows and racing were activities that brought him immense joy.
As a child, John was an active member of the Boy Scouts. He carried those values with him throughout his life, embodying the principles of kindness, preparedness, and service to others.
John's memory will forever be treasured by those who survive him, especially his loving wife of 28 years, Shelly Bush. Together they created a strong bond based on love, trust, and shared adventures. Their relationship was an inspiration to all who knew them.
John will be deeply missed by his brothers: Jim Bush and wife Cheryl; Joe Bush and wife Lisa; and Jay Bush; as well as his sister Jackie Hamilton and husband Tracy. Their family bond was unbreakable and filled with love and support. Together they shared countless memories that will forever be cherished.
In addition to his immediate family, John had a furry companion named Mocha who brought him unconditional love and comfort throughout the years.
A visitation to honor John's life will take place on December 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM and will be an opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate John's life and share their cherished memories.
John Edward Bush touched the lives of everyone he encountered with his warmth, generosity, and zest for life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
