John Jerome Bush Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, February 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. for John Jerome Bush, 54, who died Friday, February 13, 2009 at his residence. Interment will be in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, in Church Point. Surviving are son, John Christopher Bush and wife Monique, of Branch, grandchildren, Mason Bush, Alex Thomas, step grandchild, Logan Thomas, mother, Betty Guidry Bush, of Rayne, sister, Nancy Stutes and husband Darrell, of Hammond, brother, Dr. James Bush, Jr. and wife Mary Ann, of Rayne, brother, David S. Bush and wife Sandra, of Rayne, sister, Elizabeth Mooney and husband Mike, of Rayne, seven nieces, Anne Matthews, Christine Landry, Katherine Bush, Elizabeth Bush, Ashley Champagne, Allison Gaspard, Sarah Compliment, five nephews, Johnny Stutes, Ben Stutes, Michael Bush, John Anthony Bush, Seth Mooney. Preceded in death by one son, Derek Neil Bush, his father, Dr. James R. Bush, Sr. He was born Tuesday, March 30, 1954 in Church Point, LA, son of the Dr. James Bush, Sr. and Betty Guidry Bush. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday. Friends will be received Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 16, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
