John Campos was one of the finest people I ever knew. We graduated from SHS together in 1959. During SHS John played fullback for the Sealy Tigers. He, Schavrda, Kutra, and I went to the regionals in track. He was always witty and quiet, but had an infectious smile bigger than the state of Texas. After SHS, he lived a life of dedicated service through the military, HPD, and as a municipal judge. I miss him so much.
