Loving father of Susan McCarthy and her late husband William of Norwood, Jo-Anne Carey of Brewster, Elizabeth Carey of Charlestown, John J. Carey, III and his wife Susan of No. Attleboro, Paul T. Carey and his wife Kimberlee of Mansfield, Judith Sargent and her husband Christopher of West Roxbury and Janet Guarino and her husband Aldo of Westwood. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Therese Sylvia of Canton and Margaret "Peggy" Carey of Arlington. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE, Thursday morning at 9:10 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline at 10:00.
