Beloved husband of Mary Reese; loving son of the late U.S. Army veterans John S. and Martha (nee Kuczynski) Ciera; adored brother of U.S. Marine Corps veteran Paul (Mary) Ciera, U.S. Army and National Guard veteran David (Gwelda) Ciera, and Susan (Thomas Harvey) Ciera; cherished uncle of Timothy (Alyssa) Ciera, Patrick Ciera, and Shannon (Michael) Getz; devoted father of his canine companion Jethro; also survived by many loving great-nieces, nephews, family, and friends. John served our country with honor as a member of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Relatives and friends may visit Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/ Sheridan Dr. on Tuesday, December 2 from 11:00AM-12:00PM. A military service and interment will follow at 1:00PM at Western New York National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu.
