Bought my home from John and Brenda almost 35 years ago and they built next door.
Sweet people and good neighbors.
So sorry, Brenda.

Although I have more memories of spending time with Brenda and their children, I do especially remember John´s contributions to Career Day at Cherokee Middle School. His presentations were always clearly given, easily understood, and accompanied by items to help the young people understand the presentation even better. Once he brought a coffee pot which was perfect in explaining a theory.

Some years ago, John and I were on many committees at church. John was a great guy to work with. He and I tackled some tough issues and I was very glad to have him on committees. His thought process gave a different perspective that was vaued. He will be missed. Prayers for Brenda, Sam and Stacey.

Hard to believe that time has flown by so fast. My first recollection of John is when he came to pick brenda up for a dance (homecoming?) in our parents living room when I was a very young teenager. Actually visited brenda/john in may and we had great visit looking at their new home. And here we are 4 months later. Shocking

Thank you Lord that you gave me and my sister's the most loving, caring and amazing grandpa! I love you so much and I will miss you everyday but I know that one day, we will see each other again in Heaven.
