Born February 14, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee, to John Curd Conn and Celeste Taylor Conn, John grew up in Lexington, Kentucky where he graduated from Henry Clay High School. He is a Viet Nam veteran who served as a Forward Air Controller (FACs) in the C-123 aircraft stationed at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.

Upon his retirement, John became a Real Estate Broker in Albuquerque, NM, where he and his wife, Cathy, worked and lived until they moved to West Chester, PA, in 2022.

John is survived by his wife, Cathy of 57 years; daughter, Terri Conn Peck (Austin) and his five grandchildren, Julia, Keira, Morgan, Aidan and Roman; brother, Taylor W. Conn (Bonnie); and sister, Celeste C. Tingler. He is predeceased by his parents, John C. Conn, Sr. and Celeste T. Conn as well as his brother, Patrick S. Conn (Doris).

John was a member of St. Chad's Episcopal Church in Albuquerque. He sang in the St. Chad's Choir as a tenor. He served on the vestry in various leadership capacities. John also became well known for his famous Sunday morning breakfasts which he prepared for the parishioners.

John's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created, which will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
