Nancy and Conway Family,
Sorry to hear of Jack´s passing. I was fortunate enough to get a chance to know him better when I moved back to Erie for a few years after college. Whenever I saw him on the loading dock on 12th street, he was always happy to fill me on things that were going on with Kirk and Mark and other family members.
What always impressed me of those encounters is that as he was talking to me, he was normally loading his vehicle with huge liquid and gaseous containers-by hand. I mean they were hundreds and hundreds of pounds he balanced on their edges and walked into the back of his truck while spinning them with each hand while making eye contact and speaking to me. Oh, by the way, even at that time he spoke of a back injury.... Unbelievable! Talk about a show of dexterity and strength. It was something you´d expect to see in Cirque de Sole. If he was so nimble with all that weight, I can´t image how good of a horse shoe player he was!
Take care of yourselves!
