John Richard Cornett

John Richard Cornett was born June 6, 1939 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Arnold Boughman Cornett and Mary Elizabeth Skorupa Cornett. He has been a resident of the Halethorpe and Lansdowne area for over 50 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. John was a night watchman for Gemstar Corporation during his working life. He attended Severn Christian Church. He was an accomplished musician having played violin with the Peabody Orchestra. He also played music in several churches. John was also an avid gardener who enjoyed hiking a nature lover who enjoyed the outdoors. He cared for his parents in their declining years. In addition to his parents he is preceded by his brother Larry Allen Cornett and nephew Mark Bauer. Left to cherish his memory are brothers Arnold B. Cornett, Jr. of Spring Lake, PA and Billy Ray Cornett of Lansdowne, sister Kaye Cookie Bauer of York, PA as well as nephews Brian Bauer and great-nephews David, Matthew and Patrick Bauer.
