John Cox

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Cox who peacefully departed this world on May 29, 2025. John was a devoted husband to Jane for 34 years. John was a man of unwavering love, kindness, and strength. He dedicated his life to his family, his work, and community. John leaves behind a legacy of love and a profound impact on the lives of those who knew him. His love for his family was a guiding star. He always made sure to create a warm and supportive environment. John leaves behind a loving wife, Jane, and his children Tory, Amanda (Ira) and Chad (Sherry). Along with 5 grandchildren: Rebecca, Tristan, Brianna, Dalton, Afairiah, and four great-grandchildren: Jack, Oaklynn, Colson, Gunner and his sister, Shanna Wilson and several nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents: Richard and Vera Cox. John will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and empathy. His absence will be deeply felt by all who loved him. John loved to play ball and loved playing music. He was in several bands playing his bass guitar and singing. He found great spiritual strength in playing music at his church, Harvest Ministries. He always said on Sundays that he was going to go to church and play for the Lord. Per his request no services will be held.
