John E Curtsinger

John E Curtsinger, 86, of Cecilia, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Hardin Memorial Baptist Health in Elizabethtown.
He was born in Louisville to Elza and Hallie Curtsinger. John enjoyed Nascar racing, old cars, and Bluegrass music. He was a forklift driver and he retired from Kitchen Kompact after 30 years of employment. He served in the National Guard for six years before receiving an honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elza and Hallie Curtsinger, his sister Mary Lou Barrow, and the love of his life, Christine Wingfield.
He is survived by his 3 loving children Jerry (Linda) Curtsinger, June Blocker, and Jim (Jill Houghton) Curtsinger, 5 grandchildren Justin Curtsinger, Brooke Childress, Amber Clark, Lindsey Blocker, and Lauren Blocker, 5 great-grandchildren Tristan, Braydon, Kinley, Peyton, and Emory, and his very special friend, Debi (Teddy), whom was very dear to his heart.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 20, 2024 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY with Rev. Dusty Sullivan officiating. Burial will be held at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday April 20, 2024 10:00 am to 2:00 pm the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
