John Wayne Daniels 77 of Eastland, Texas went to his heavenly home on February 22, 2025. John was the son of John L. and Modell Daniel and the loving husband of Debra (Norton) Daniels who passed away in December 2024.
He is survived by son, Sean Daniels and daughter, Tiffany Reeves. He has two grandsons, Riley Reeves and wife, Angel and Jett Reeves and wife, Baylee and five great grandchildren, Jaydon, River, Jud, Jax and Colt. He is also survived by sisters, Cathy Smith and husband, Larry and Lwanda Burkhaulter and husband, Don; brothers, Jim Tom Daniel and wife, Elaine and Gary Daniel and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
John worked in the Oil and Gas Industry when he returned from Vietnam. He loved all things Oil and Gas from Wireline, Logging, Offshore Drilling, Coil Tubing, Frac and Cementing. His hobbies included camping, fishing and all things sports. He loved the Eastland Mavericks and when unable to attend the games he faithfully listened to them on the radio. He never failed to call the radio station and give the Mavericks well wishes during every game. John's number one love was focusing his life around his grandsons and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Pallbearers are: Riley Reeves, Jim Tom Daniel, Don Burkhaulter and Sean Daniels.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 10:00am at Corinth Cemetery officiated by Bro. Craig Rhoton assisted by Tim Dame. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Eastland.
