It's been a privilege to know Mr. Davies. He was kind and considerate to me and my family for many years. He will be missed for all who knew and loved him.

Andy, Lea and Butch,
Pete was one of the finest people I
have ever met. There are lots of fond
memories of him and the rest of the
family he enjoyed sharing with all.
Savor the memories.

Mr. Davies also did my mother's taxes. He was such a kind and generous man. In fact, as I look back at my growing up years in Culpeper, I realize that he was certainly one of the best examples of the folks who make Culpeper such a special place.

My special prayers go out to you, Butch and Lee, at this difficult time.

While you have lost a warm, loving father, the Culpeper community has lost an outstanding citizen, a true servant leader.

Cherish the memories of your father.

I’m very saddened to hear about Mr. Davies passing. I had the privilege to get to know Mr. Davies as a youngster, eating at Gayhearts in the early morning. He would always go out of his way to speak to me and make me feel welcome in conversations. I appreciate the opportunity to have met him and will truly miss him.

My deepest condolences to John's family.
The world marvels at John's strength and longevity. The Bible in Psalms 90:10 calls it "Special Mightiness". May the memories of John give you peace and comfort at this time.

I send my heartfelt condolences to the entire family, especially Andy and Lee. I have many, many fond memories of Mr. Davies who always had a smile and warm greeting for everyone. Culpeper is certainly a better place because of him and I feel privileged to have known him as well as Mrs. Davies.

During my "growing up" years in Culpeper I was privileged to know "Pete" and have "Spilly" as my algebra teacher. They were both such significant influences in all our lives. And, I remember them with warmth and admiration. William Dudley Gilbert

It makes me very sad to read this. I remember Mr. Davies always did my late mother-in-laws taxes after her husband died, and I never saw him on the street or in a store that he didn't speak. One of Culpeper's finest citizens.

I will also miss seeing Pete and Butch having lunch at Country Cooking.

James and I send our sympathies and prayers to the Davies family.
