I have known John for decades as a respected fellow colleague, Christian mental health professional, and mentor. His practice and presence in the community and his church has touched many, many lives in positive ways that can never be fully measured. John will always be remembered by me as a man of integrity and faith. Thank you John for the chance to share this journey with you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends! Dr. Day was my psychologist for several years. I met him when I was 25 and ge helped me very much with the death of my younger brother. I seen him off and on for 43 years as my youngest son was Schizophrenic and he passed last June from cancer. I just seen Dr Day a few months ago. So hard to believe. He helped me alot throughout my life. He was so proud of his granddaughters. My condolences to his family. RIP Doc. Deanna Whitmer

I had good memories having the office Christmas parties at his house. We brought our kids, and he was always welcoming and a great host. I enjoyed his stories of how he started the practice. I will miss his sense of humor and the wealth of knowledge he offered.

Dr.Day was my therapist, I met him when I was a child, and then later in my adult life. I'll always remember him as someone who was always smiling, cheerful, and positive. He helped me turn around many things about myself, but also validated many things as well and I will be forever grateful for him. Some.of my favorite times spent with him were the ones where he spoke of his childhood and young adult life and adventures he went on. He wasn't like any kind of person on his line of work I'd ever met before. He's was one of a kind, will he greatly missed, and the comfort is that I know he was strong in his faith and I know he is in heaven. He spoke of his family often, he loved them all very much, my heart goes out to you all. God Bless
