I knew John well, he was my accountant for years, I am sorry I missed his funeral. May he rest in peace as he was a good man.

I only knew John from his few days playing golf in St Andrews. Such a lovely man and a pleasure it was for me to be his caddie for two days.
Condolences to all the family.

I got to know John in 1975. He was instrumental in helping me starting a business. This continued for the next 33 years. Through those years we shared much including business decisions, family memories, (he was so proud of his family) basketball, good times and bad. When I married in 1990 he and my wife became best friends and had a lot of fun at my expense. They had this common bond about giving me a hard time that we all enjoyed. To show John's sense of humor, we would send a Christmas card each year and in it we would include a business card with both of our pictures on it. He would always ask if there was any way to get one with my picture blacked out. Many times through the years even though he was my business consultant I would call him and start the conversation by saying this is not a business question it is a Big Brother question. That is how I felt about John. My heart is hurting and we will miss him so much. RIP our friend. To Becky and the family we send our love and prayers. Ed and Maggie Schnarr
