John Anthony DeHahn, 81, of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
He was born February 22, 1944, in Lafayette, IN, to the late John and Helen (Vaughn) DeHahn
John graduated from Lafayette Central Catholic High School.
John was the owner and operator of DeHahn Produce in Lafayette for over 30 years before retiring.
John was a basketball coach at St. Lawrence School and enjoyed Purdue Basketball and Football and his grandchildren's activities. Loving memories of him will be cherished and he will be deeply missed.
John was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph V DeHahn.
Surviving are three daughters, Melissa Kohne of Lafayette, IN, Lori (Jeff) VanArsdel of Lafayette, IN and Tammy (Dave Johnson) DeHahn of Beaufort, SC. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Steele of LaPorte, IN and Mary DeHahn of Ocean View, DE. John is also survived by three grandchildren, Emily (Brad) Albright, Jacob (Sydney) VanArsdel and Taylor (Ryan) Mughmaw as well as six great grandchildren, Leah, Sadie and Alayna Albright, Macy and Sophie VanArsdel and Emma Mughmaw.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
