John B. Delk

John B. Delk, 88 of Portland, Tn. passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Mr. Delk was born January 25, 1938 to the late Clure Green Delk and Nolia Clio Whittaker.

Along with his parents, Mr. Delk was preceded in death by his wife Eula Stafford Delk; son, Donnie Delk and siblings, Wilmer Lee Delk, Louise Tosh and Elese West.

Mr. Delk is survived by children, Joann Delk, Ronnie and Jackie Delk; Connie and Clay Williams, and Marie Wells; grandchildren, Daisie and Anthony Warden, Maisie and Keith Denning, Johnny and Abby Delk, Tristen and Kyle Smythe, Dakota and Zoie Williams; great grandchildren, Keely and Sam Pizzano, Gunner Delk, Jaycie Davis, Jacob Langford, Paisley Delk, Ambre and Michael Templeton, Joshua and Caitlyn Langford, Max Williams, Malerie Smythe, Christie Hudgens, J.T. Hudgens, Kynsli Hudgens, Abigail and Preston Woodall, and Tyler Warden; great great grandchildren, Grayson, Amari, Nova and Khloe; siblings, Willie Joe Delk, Blanche & Glenn Goodman, Ronald Jr. and Linda Delk; sister in law, Veula Bull.

Funeral service for Mr. Delk will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Wilkinson Wiseman Funeral Home with Daniel Williams officiating, with visitation on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. funeral time.

Following the funeral service, interment will be in Halltown Cemetery.

Serving as pallbeaers will be, Johnny Delk, Keith Denning, Dakota Williams, Gunner Delk, Jacob Langford and Joshua Langford with Max Williams and Anthony Warden serving as honorary pallbearers.
