John Demarest Obituary
Born on June 23, 1967 in Hudson, NY, he was a graduate of the Class of 1985 at Ichabod Crane Central Schools. For over 35 years, John was a valued Union Laborer with Local 190. He enjoyed hunting, being on the Hudson River, riding his motorcycle and loved spending time with his family. Being a "Pa" was his favorite thing in the world.
John is survived by his wife, Kelley Demarest; two sons, Rocco (Brooke) and Gunnar (Ashlee); grandchildren, Carmine, Jameson and Johnathan; his mother, Sandra; his brother, Jason (Julie) Demarest. His sister Jaclyn (Jake) Demarest, Mother-in-law Paula Stone, Sister-in-law Libby (Rick) Briggs, Brother-in-law Lucas Briggs and many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and many friends. He was predeceased by his father, John Demarest Sr. (Big Jack), his brother, Craig and many uncles and cousins.
Friends are welcome and may call from 4-8 PM, Thursday at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Rt. 9, Valatie, NY.
