John Dempsey

My heart goes out to Dr. Dempsey´s family and to Dr. Litchfield. Dr. Dempsey had this rare mix of kindness and humor that made everyone around him feel valued. He wasn´t just a great professor and boss, he also had a warm, encouraging presence. I´ll always be grateful for the support and guidance he gave me at the university. His mentorship and heart left a mark on so many of us

My heart is heavy to lose such a friend. Jack was such an important person to so many and I was privileged to be part of his life, albeit a short few years. He had the biggest and warmest heart and I will miss the kindness and depth of his compassion.
