So surprised and saddened to hear that he is gone. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, patients and colleagues. I will miss him.

As a patient with white-coat nervous syndrome, Dr. D had a kind of bedside manner that always got me to relax and feel safe and cared for in his office. Just this past year he guided me reassuringly through a series of more intensive tests that I needed. I feel privliged to have found and had him as my cardiologist. He will be missed.

My sincerest condolences to Dr. DiFilippo's family. He was my cardiologist for nearly 15 years. I will miss my yearly visits with him and our chats. He was caring, kind and pleasant. I hope that your memories of him will serve as comfort. Respectfully, L. Graham

I was so saddened to hear the news about Dr. Di. My family all went to him. He was the best and will be missed by all.

I have fond memories of John as my chief resident. He was a great mentor, doctor and friend. He will be missed.

I can't remember when John and I met but we were young & full of energy. Most of that came from him. He was always up for jokes, fun & food. We visited him in Rome when he was in school and had the time of our lives. I remember he was shocked when he couldn't understand the people of Venice! It was the dialect &'he was shocked but he figured it out, and we had a great experience that will last forever. He will always be my lifelong friend. I'm the tall one on the left.

In time, the pain in your heart will be replaced by peace, the memories will be comforting, the thoughts will be only of love.

John was a wonderful man who was always in good spirits, and willing to help those in need. He certainly left this earth in a better place because he was there whenever the situation required. We shall miss him so much!
