I have met an extraordinary amount of people in my lifetime, most notably in this menagerie of people was my dear friend John Dramesi. He was a brilliant conversationalist and knew a little bit about everything...
He had a limited education but what he knew about life brilliant! He could hold his own with just about anyone.
He was a Philly Cop, just like my dad was.
They were both loving and very protective of their family. Both men could have been brothers, they were so much alike. Both were extremely street smart. If you needed any advice they were quick to give it to you!! "God Bless them both and " Rest in peace."
All my Love! "Dad & John"

In the 1980s Col. John Dramesi set high performance standards for we senior NCOs. John had then, and still has, my complete respect. The honorable direction he set forth stays with me today.

Served with Dramesi back in Mountain Home AFB, ID when the 390th had F-111F's. Over time I had 3 or 4 encounters with John since 1977 when I left the 390th Squadron. I am shocked more people don't know about his passing. Good man, good conversationalist, and an honorable man.
