John Durgee Obituary
Born on August 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Millie and John Durgee. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Lynn Durgee; loving father of Carroll (Harry) Kainaroi, John R. (Marcia) Durgee and Michael Durgee; grandfather of Christopher (Deirdre) Assenza, Harry Thomas Kainaroi, Calla Kainaroi, John A. Durgee, and Caroline Durgee; and great grandfather of Gwen Assenza, Serena Assenza and Eva Assenza.
John was an avid collector of many things. He enjoyed playing golf and boating.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Fresh Air Fund, PO Box 4535, New York, NY 10164.
