JOHN MICHAEL ELFERS, 40, passed into eternity November 7, 2023, in Los Angeles. He was born in Cincinnati March 2, 1983. John succumbed to a rare form of fast-spreading cancer and fought bravely to live. He is survived by his mother, Jane Elfers; brother, Paul Elfers; sister-in-law, Amy Elfers; nieces, Anna and Leah Elfers; aunt, Lynn Devito; cousins, Jane Devito, Don Devito (Patty); Diane Devito-Wright; his uncle, Raymond Zaccard; aunt, Linda Zaccard; cousins, Michelle Zaccard-Snead,(Rob Craig), and Lisa Simek, (Tim Buschke); uncle, Thomas Zaccard; aunt, Cecelia Zaccard, cousins, Colleen (Luke) Skowron; Katherine (Andrew) Muschlewski; Elizabeth (Naomi) Zaccard; and Rebecca (Steven) Gibson; aunt, Karen (Donald) Kaleck; uncle, Tom Elfers (Terri), aunt, Cindy Elfers-Syarto, cousins, Renee L. Elfers; Jacquelyn L. Elfers, Kristen Elfers-Grossman (Brian), and Michael (Lisa) Elfers, and many loving extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father. Terrence Elfers: his eldest brother, Douglas Elfers; his paternal grandparents Earl and Marguerite Elfers; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marguerite Zaccard; and his aunt, Patricia Zaccard.
John will be prayed to his eternal rest at a Mass of Christian Burial on December 2nd at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7770 Beechmont Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255. The Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Guadalupe room and the funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. in church, followed by a procession to the family grave site at Guardian Angels Cemetery on Beechmont Avenue.
