John Ellenbecker Obituary
February 9, 1950- February 27, 2026
Born to Eternal Life on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Kretlow) for almost 53 years. Loving father to Brian (Rebecca) Ellenbecker and David Ellenbecker (Nicole Newby). Proud grandpa of Olivia and Charlotte Ellenbecker. Dear brother of James (Patti), Edward (Margaret) Thomas (Catherine) and Charles (Alice "Cookie") Ellenbecker and Mary (Randy) Schulenburg. Former father-in-law of Lisa Ellenbecker. John is also loved and will be missed by Audrey and Keevah Newby, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Mary Jane (née Crotty) Ellenbecker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC PARISH, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial at Holy Apostles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
