Wonderful neighbor. Thoughtful, kind and caring. Loved my dogs. His warm smile and sense of humor will be missed as well as our little chats in the alley. My condolences to the family.

I've lived next door to John for 24 years. He watched my children grow up. He always had a smile and wave, or would walk over with a beer and chat. He was a bright light in your day of you saw him and he always watched out for his neighbors. I will miss him dearly. Godspeed Johnny.

I am a long time neighbor of John's. My sincere condolences to his family. We shared a few beers in his backyard around the fire in the early years of living on Park Ave. He was a warm, friendly, and ultimately a funny guy. I'm sure I can say he will be missed by all of his neighbors. He was taken too soon. It's really quite a shock and I personally still have a hard time wrapping my mind around it. My heart goes out to his family. I believe that Johnny is in a beautiful place. With glorious sights and sounds. He is excited for his future and looks forward to the days of his friends and family to be reunited with him in such an amazing place. He is truly at peace. Feels a warm love embracing him, and he has never felt as safe as he does right now.
You will be missed Johnny
