John Feller and I became great friends when we began working together in the furniture division at United Parcel Service in the 1960's. He spent many Christmas and Thanksgivings at our home. He had an infectious sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to our growing and extended family.
He enjoyed prospecting for gold in the San Gabriel Mountains where he spent many weekends camping. I joined him on a few trips to the Narrows to prospect but John had much better luck than me!

John, you will be missed. I still remember all those super hot days we worked in Palm Springs summers.
