John Thomas Fields

John Thomas Fields, 92, of Plainfield died on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009 at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA. He was born in Green County, NC and was a resident of Plainfield for 41 years and formerly of Wilson, NC. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Plainfield and Saxton, Male Chores, Vacation Bible School, Chief Nutritionist, Sanctuary Choir. He serviced with the Civilian Conservatory Corp. during WWII. He was employed by Matel Inc. in Maintenance for over 25 yrs until retirement. His hobbies were gardening, cooking, and mentoring. He is predeceased by his wife, Emma Jean Fields and son, John T. Fields, Jr. He is survived by Sons, Elmer Lee Fields (Christine) of Plainfield, Philip Fields (Linda) of Plainfield, Kenneth Fields (Sonia) Griffin, GA; Daughters, Laduroe Hill (Frank) of Wilson, NC, Arnette Austin (Horace) of Easton, Pa; Brother, Johnnie Fields (Liddy) of Roselle, NJ; 15 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
