John J. Fitzhenry

John Fitzhenry, born on December 26, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2024, at the age of 67. He was a cherished member of the Lawndale community in Philadelphia, where he was born and raised.
John was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, Class of 1975. For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to serving the community as a mailman in Philadelphia, known for his friendly demeanor and unwavering commitment.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Anne Katharine and Edward T. Fitzhenry, his siblings Carole Boyle, Katharine, and James, as well as his grandchildren Julianna and Kevin, Jr.
John is survived by his children Maureen Cleary (Mike), Carolyn Crane (Kevin), and John Fitzhenry, Jr. (Stephanie). He was a loving grandfather to Shane, Matthew, Emma, Aubrey, Cameron, and Dakota. John also leaves behind his brothers Edward Fitzhenry and Dennis Fitzhenry, and his devoted partner of 17 years, Rose Mullen. He will be dearly missed by many friends, nieces, and nephews.
Services for John will be held at the Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home, located at 905 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. His Interment will take place at a later date in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
