John Patrick Foegen

John Patrick Foegen, age 63, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025.

John was born on April 30, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas, the fourth of nine children, and the first born son. John lived a life of quiet strength, happiness and humor, not dampened by his challenges. His path through life took him from his early years surrounded by family to Florida where there was a hospital that could provide the care he needed in Orlando. Later, John moved to Denver to be closer to his family, and stayed in Colorado for the remainder of his life.

John is survived by his beloved siblings: Denise McGilligan and husband Tim McGilligan, Lisa Foegen, Celia Harned and her husband Chris Harned, Chris Foegen and his wife Stephanie Foegen, Mike Foegen, Caitlin Smith and her husband Greg Smith, Kim Williams and her husband Brandon Williams, and Brian Foegen, along with twenty nieces and nephews and grand nieces. Each of them carries a part of John's spirit, and his memory will live on in the stories they share.

John has moved on from this life to join our Mom and Dad, and is at peace. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. The family will be forever thankful to the special team of people who provided care for John throughout his life.
