John Patrick Fox Jr.

What a great man! I moved the his neighborhood in 2021 and John was the only neighbor who came to my house to welcome me and assist me according to his possibilities. He asked me if I was familiar with the city schedule for different things, he offered to print it out for me. The next day he was at my house with the printed schedule. In January 2024 I found out through his son, Dan, that John wasn't doing great. Dan stopped over to say hi and introduce himself while I was cleaning the snow in front of my house. Dan is the only of his sons who I have met but it was enough to know that John raised a beautiful family and I'm sure he was proud of it. I feel very sorry for this family and I wish I could have been closer to them. God bless this amazing family and give them peace!

John was a member of our planning commission for nearly 40 years. He was an exceptional public servant. For about 15 years, I lived in his neighborhood and I used to enjoy talking to him when he was out on his nightly walks or tending his garden.
