John Frascello Obituary
John was born August 22nd 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Nicholas and Guelma Frascello and graduated from N.B. Forrest High School in Jacksonville.
He briefly served as a firefighter with the Lake City Fire Department before pursuing a career in law enforcement.
He retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (J.S.O.) in 2004 after serving for 34 years. He spent his retirement fishing, hunting, volunteering at Haven Hospice, and enjoyed quality time with family and friends.
John is survived by his wife of 18 years, Janet, his daughters Kristin and Kaitlin, 4 grandsons, brothers Rick and Terry (Darlene), nieces, nephews, and several friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, December 19, 2025 in the Garden of the Good Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 12:45pm until 1:45pm in the Jacksonville Memory Gardens Chapel prior to graveside services.

Had the good pleasure of going fishing with John many times. Seems we always caught something and had a good time . We also had adjoining beats and handled many calls together. He always strived to do the best and right thing.
