John and I knew each other from both being artists, and having exhibited at the Oakbrook art fair together. We kept in touch for a while, but lost touch when him and Laura moved to St. Charles, IL. John was a very driven, prolific artist in the Chicago community. I respected his drive, production and theory in his work. I was shocked to just discover that he passed away from a sudden heart attack in Chicago! My condolences go out to his wife, Laura, and the rest of his family. Rest in peace, John. You have left a legacy of an incredible output of your art. God bless you.

Is this John Fraser the artist? If so, I knew him, but would like confirmation.

Is this John Fraser, the artist that passed away? I knew him for decades. We exhibited together at the Oakbrook art fair in Oakbrook.

John and I always laughed a lot. Opening a package from him was like trying to get into Fort Knox. He was an excellent packer. He should have had stock in the packing tape industry. Thanks for everything John. Miss you!
