John Nicholas "Jack" Gariety, age 30, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on October 28, 2025.
He was the beloved son of Liza Frank and Charles G. (Sandi) Gariety, and the devoted father of Alice Hope Gariety. Jack is also survived by his siblings: Mia Hodge, Charles A. (Courtney) Gariety, Elizabeth Wilcox, and Brittany Winter; his niece, Carsyn; his nephew, Nixon; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kelsey Angelita Gariety; his grandparents, Charles E. and Jane R. Gariety; his uncle, Jack Gariety; and Gene Maurice.
Born and raised in Bellefontaine, Jack was a proud graduate of Riverside Local Schools. Following in his father's footsteps, he built a career as a skilled tradesman and welder, work that he took great pride in.
Jack had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished time spent exploring state parks, traveling across the country with his wife and their dog, and visiting the ocean. Above all, Jack treasured time with his family. He was especially proud to be a father and found his greatest joy in moments spent with his daughter, Alice.
Jack will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed and his memory cherished by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 2PM-4PM at Ferguson Funeral Home 202 East Main Street Plain City, Ohio 43064. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 PM with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating.
